All orders ship Freight Pre Paid or 3rd Party Bill To. You can request Relics use a specific freight company of your choosing. If there is no mention of this on your purchase order, Relics will select the most economical carrier for you.

Please be aware that it is the responsibility of the receiving party to check each shipment for damage at the time of delivery. This must be done! If an item, or items, are damaged, refuse those items but keep the undamaged item(s). If the damage is noted correctly, Relics will provide a replacement for you at no cost & Relics will file all necessary freight claims. If there is damage, however the damage is not reported or recognized at the time of delivery, you the receiver will have 15 days to report this damage directly to the freight company. This type of damage is called “Concealed Damage”.

A claim for this can be submitted however the typical reimbursement from the freight company is only 33% of the invoice, & not identifying the damage at the time of delivery has removed Relics from our ability to file claims on your behalf. The responsibility of filing the freight claim is now completely that of the receiver, you. In addition, all packaging materials must remain with the item(s). Typically an inspection will be performed & these materials will need to be presented at the time of inspection. An inspection will occur once the damage has been reported, & the inspection scheduled.

If the freight company or delivery service will not allow you to inspect your shipment, you now have 3 options. #1, ask the driver if you can write “Possible Concealed Damage” on the Bill of Lading & then sign for the shipment, #2, contact the freight company headquarters by telephone immediately & tell them the driver will not allow you to inspect your shipment. They, at this point, should now allow you to inspect your shipment. If not, then #3, Refuse the shipment & contact Relics & tell us of your situation. We at Relics have no control over the freight companies. We can only tell you of the proper ways to receive freight that will insure your interests & absolve you of any responsibilities of damage that were caused by the freight company.

If an order is being drop shipped directly to a 3rd party customer, or to a receiving agent, it is the responsibility of the company, or individual, who wrote the purchase order to Relics, to inform the addressee of these freight rules.

We offer to Drop Ship any order directly to your customer. Standard freight costs are 10-35% of total purchase order. Residential & Inside deliveries are subject to additional charges. All orders ship Standard Freight, (dock to dock business delivery, or dock to curbside residential delivery) unless otherwise requested and arranged in advance with Relics.
